Australia Day Kevin Rudd release
Tuesday 26 January 2010, Australia Day, will mark a day that future generations of literature lovers and arts appreciators will look back upon as a landmark date in our country’s proud history.
We’re confident ‘Jasper And Abby and the Great Australia Day Kerfuffle’ will have youngsters across the country engrossed. Surely this much awaited contribution by the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will result in the reduction of our carbon footprint, due to Nintendos, videos and TVs being abandoned as Australia’s youth savours every word.
In appreciation of this self sacrificing spirit set by our fearless leader, I have looked inward to see what contribution I might make as the ‘other’ Mr Rudd PM, [clone and proud Australian,] to both the arts and reducing the nation’s carbon footprint.
In my own small way, I hope that on Australia Day this will become manifest with my own release designed to encourage all of us to get artistic, creative and similarly reduce our cumulative carbon footprint by replacing it with our own footprints.
Hopefully, all will be revealed on Australia Day. If not, put this down as another political promise.
