60 Minutes TV programme recently featured Chris at an event in Canberra, ACT, for a story about Baby Boomers and superannuation with reporter Charles Wooley. The Sixty Minutes team googled BabyBoomersEntertainment.com and phoned Chris because of his appearances at events designed for Baby Boomers. Once they knew that the ‘other’ Mr Rudd came with the package they joined the Baby Boomers ‘Blast From The Past’ event at Casino Canberra for a ‘party’ night. 60 Minutes programme with Chris making comedy in Canberra broadcast in late July.

The Sydney Mardi Gras Parade was all fun last weekend.

Marchers and media were continually photographing and interviewing the ‘other’ Mr Rudd and Deputy Julia [pronounced 'Jewel-ya'!], sporting a sash displaying ‘MrRudd.com.au’.

You might have caught it live or on TV news highlights on Sunrise, Channel 9, Arena, ABC TV, SBS or one of the other outlets.

It all came about because speaking with a few friends during the week transpired into a phone call to Amnesty International group about 4pm on Friday to offer a little help. They do much good work and their statement, ‘Make Abuse History’ seemed to work. What with the hair dryer and cup of tea situations with the actual Kevin Rudd, his reputed verbal treatment of various airline and airforce personnel have become part of Aussie history.

On Saturday afternoon, the ‘other’ Mr Rudd arrived at the Mardi Gras at last minute, didn’t know which way to go and offered himself for photo opportunities. The organizers liked the look and put us in front of their banner, their float and the whole group then said, ‘Lead us!’

Apparently, Art does imitate life!

We’d like to say ‘Do The Rudd’ is the new sports workout routine designed to trim excess kilos and buff those buns, or whatever health and fitness trainers say to motivate couch potatoes; but we can’t say that at all!
We put this dance track together purely for the fun. Like climbing Everest, it had to be done.
We thought Kevin Rudd’s caught gestures needed interpreting by court jesters, so we took our camera to interesting places and met marvellous people.
So if the climate is not changing quick enough for you, Do The Rudd.
Why let the poli’s have all the fun?
Start your own party, get into the A.C.T. and Do The Rudd!
It’s healthy, stealthy, and slightly naughty…

Thank my Lucky Starrs.
‘Being John Malkovich’ is over ten years old now but the movie still ‘does my head in’, pardon the pun.
As someone who impersonates a number of international stars, the idea of glimpsing a famous person’s subconscious can seem strangely tempting.
For a long time I’ve provided voice overs for radio stations, advertisers and corporate training videos as various celebrities including the legendary actor Sir Sean Connery.
At a live performance in about 2007, I told a couple of jokes as the great James Bond himself.
To my delight, the original ‘I’ve Been Everywhere’ man, Lucky Starr was also performing and backstage was most complimentary about my Sean Connery voice; and he’s heard a lot of ‘Yesh Mish Moneypennys’!
He suggested I should really create a bigger show around that character alone and encouraged me to pursue it.
Now, I’m enjoying more requests than ever to host, MC, act as guest speaker or provide a complete show including my own Miss Moneypenny with events wanting this perennially favourite 007 theme I thank my Lucky Starr advice that he so generously gave.
Who knows, maybe there’s a ‘Being Sean Connery’ plot hatching right now…

Tuesday 26 January 2010, Australia Day, will mark a day that future generations of literature lovers and arts appreciators will look back upon as a landmark date in our country’s proud history.

We’re confident ‘Jasper And Abby and the Great Australia Day Kerfuffle’ will have youngsters across the country engrossed. Surely this much awaited contribution by the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will result in the reduction of our carbon footprint, due to Nintendos, videos and TVs being abandoned as Australia’s youth savours every word.

In appreciation of this self sacrificing spirit set by our fearless leader, I have looked inward to see what contribution I might make as the ‘other’ Mr Rudd PM, [clone and proud Australian,] to both the arts and reducing the nation’s carbon footprint.

In my own small way, I hope that on Australia Day this will become manifest with my own release designed to encourage all of us to get artistic, creative and similarly reduce our cumulative carbon footprint by replacing it with our own footprints.

Hopefully, all will be revealed on Australia Day. If not, put this down as another political promise.
