In Perth for the Dalai Lama’s concert with the rest of the crazy crew known as the Nobel Funk Off, I got to meet the man himself backstage. Still in character as Mikhail Gorbachev, [the birthmak's on the other side of the bald cap], I spoke in my limited Russian.

And if you want to know what I said, it wasn’t [as was suggested], ’Did you hear the one about Karl Stefanovic going into a pizza shop?!’

It seems ‘taking the peace’ has struck a chord!

As the former leader of the Soviet Union, instigator of Perestroika and Nobel Peace Prize Winner, I get to wear the bald cap and birthmark. All for peace and the opportunity to talk Tibet with the Dalai Lama!

Part of the lead up to the Dalai’s Australian visit is the ongoing release of videos that are filmed to create maximum awareness, fun reactions and international interest in the ‘Funk for Peace’ music movement.

60 Minutes TV program featured Chris at an event for a story about Baby Boomers and superannuation with reporter Charles Wooley. The Sixty Minutes team googled BabyBoomersEntertainment.com and phoned Chris because of his appearances at events designed for Baby Boomers. Once they knew that the ‘other’ Kevin Rudd came with the package they joined the Baby Boomers ‘Blast From The Past’ event at Casino Canberra for a ‘party’ night.

The Sydney Mardi Gras Parade was a lot of fun and the ‘Dynamic Duo’ are much more fun now that Julia G is part of live events.

To officially open any event, Julia G commences with a typical ” Gawd oy-ve-ning evry-bod-oy”. (Say that out loud. You’ll understand why it’s written phonetically.)

Then after about 5 minutes of “spoy-king ab-hout Mervyn Ford”, she introduces her ‘Four N Minsta’.  “Corz evry toym hoy sez, ‘Let moy boy proy-minsta’, Oy sigh the four enz. No. No. No. Nevva!” (Again phonetically written for obvious reasons.)

Following that eloquent and erudite introduction, the Foreign Minister, nee Prime Minister, takes the podium.

Whether you call them impersonators or ‘imposters’, the reaction is very real, and when you consider poly means ‘many’, it seems there is no limit to the many ‘poli’ satires that are just begging to be elected.
